OUR AWARENESS LINE was created after my child was diagnosed with autism. I was had an extremely difficult time connecting with other autism parents and I found myself thinking "This shouldn't be so hard...I wish they would just wear a sign or something"...the rest is as they say, history. Today, my focus is the great need for families to move beyond "awareness" into targeted areas of education, support,  and acceptance. Visibility will begin this journey.
